In the "It's a small world" category, Thoma Bravo acquired Coupa in February 2023. Coupa is led by Leagh Turner, who used to be the Co-CEO at Dayforce. Leagh departed Dayforce & joined Coupa @ November 2023.
I hope this $12.3B investment will result in a much better Careers module for Dayforce. The talent acquisition portion of the application is subpar compared to the competition (Workday, Greenhouse, UKG).

As with most takeover entities & the private equity companies, Thoma Bravo has a rich history of driving layoffs as it prioritizes growth.

Dayforce has had a number of RIFs over the recent years - similar to other tech organizations. What will the workforce damage be after the deal closes?

Coupa Software had their own layoffs shortly after the Thoma Bravo acquisition. This Glassdoor review indicates there have been several rounds of layoffs. The Ceridianites & Daymakers need to hang on for a bumpy ride.
